Spreading Kindness and Smiles

Every day, we have the opportunity to make someone’s day brighter. Sometimes, it’s a small gesture, a smile, a kind word or a note of encouragement. This impact can be bigger than we imagine. That’s the heart of my mission: “Be Kind & Smile Often.”

My story, my heart

My journey living with a disability has shown me the power of hope and positivity. I wouldn't be here today without God. I’m so grateful to be a wife and mom while pursuing my mission of spreading light. For the past 12 years I’ve worked as a substitute teacher. During that time, I’ve had the privilege of being around so many students and people, and one thing has always stood out to me....so many people are carrying unseen burdens.

Over the years, God has been stirring something in my heart. I’ve been praying about doing something from home, something that would not only help support my family, but also make a difference in people’s lives.

I’ve always believed this simple truth:

the world needs more kindness.

And sometimes, the smallest things, like a smile, can bring light into someone’s darkest moment.

That’s how Be Kind & Smile Often was born.

What started as a small idea has become a mission:

Spreading kindness through bracelets and encouragement.

Each bracelet is given with purpose, a simple reminder that your kindness and your smile matter more than you know.

For every bracelet purchased, I donate one to someone who may need encouragement. Maybe that’s a student, someone going through a hard time, or a stranger who just needs to feel seen.

My prayer is that these bracelets do more than just sit on a wrist…

that they spark kindness, start conversations, and remind people they are not alone.

As it says in Matthew 5:16:

Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

And in Ephesians 4:32:

Be kind and compassionate to one another.”

This is more than a bracelet.

It’s a reminder.

It’s a mission.

It’s given with purpose.
